Advent & Christmastide

... Look now, for glad and golden hours come swiftly on the wing:
O , rest beside the weary road, and hear the angels sing.

Sunday, December 4
5:30 p.m.

Crafts, Advent Wreaths, supper, and even a visit with an exceptional guest – all open and free to the community. Bring your family and friends and join us for this very special evening as we prepare for the arrival of the Christ-child in our midst!

Purchase a Poinsettia for Christmas Worship

Our Deacons are once again selling poinsettia plants to decorate our Sanctuary for the final Sunday of Advent and Christmas Eve. Red, White, and Marbled plants are available for $10 each and may be dedicated to either “in honor” or “in memory” of your beloved family or friends. Our plants are coming from our local Warner’s Florist and all proceeds from the sale will go to Presbyterian Disaster Assistance to help those who have been affected by natural disasters this year. If you would like to order a poinsettia directly from our website, email our Church Administrator your color choices and dedications by clicking here and then click the button below to pay. Thank you for supporting our neighbors!

Christmas Joy Offering

On Christmas Eve Night, at both worship services, we will take part in this special offering of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). The Christmas Joy Offering has been a cherished Presbyterian tradition since the 1930s. The Offering distributes gifts equally to the Assistance Program of the Board of Pensions and to Presbyterian-related schools and colleges equipping communities of color. The Assistance Program provides critical financial support to church workers and their families. Presbyterian-related schools and colleges provide education and leadership development while nurturing racial and ethnic heritage. This has been a Presbyterian commitment for nearly 140 years.
